Maxine has been tattooing for 10 years now, four of which she’s been the fearless leader and owner of Lucky 13 Tattoo Studio. Her passion for tattooing is unmistakable and can be proven by the vastness of her style capabilities, though her heart remains with neo-traditional and Japanese designs. When she isn’t drawing floral, moths or animal skulls for fun she can usually be found somewhere within a close distance to a donut or live music (or both). Jessy has been an artist as long as she can remember and in the last four years, she’s finally put that art to skin. Hailing from Lyon, Paris, Jessy has been fortunate enough to have tattooed all over the world, gracing international bodies with her signature female empowered likenesses as well as her sought after plant, flower and animal work. She is proficient in blackwork tattoos and would describe her style as “beautifully dark”.
Saurin has worn many artistic hats (including their daily colourful touques) and has an armful of arts diplomas including a Bachelor of Fine Arts. They’ve worked with an array of mediums: ceramics, gallery paintings and graphic design before finding their calling with tattooing at Lucky 13 for the past 3 years.
Stylistically pushing the boundary between adorable and weird, they are proficient in colour and black and grey, with a special fondness for bright and colourful neo-traditional tattoos. When they are not tattooing, they spend their time snuggling their cat Broccoli, binge watching anime, rock climbing, and doing fire performances with the local circus community.
She is our hard working apprentice! Eden has been part of the Lucky 13 team for almost 2 years, and was a natural fit for tattooing with her existing skills in art and animation. She has been tattooing her designs on clients since March of 2023, a fun mix of soft botanicals, whimsical animation and funny cartoons.
